The Great Auckland Bargain Book Sale, New Zealand’s largest book fair, is an annual event in it’s 29th year, aimed to raise funds for a number of local community groups and charities including: Tamaki and New Lynn Lions, the East City Community Trust, local sports clubs in the Eastern bays including basketball, Futsal, soccer, Volleyball and a number of local school sports teams including Baradene College’s Archery Academy.
We are also a proud supporter of “From Me to PNG” a charity providing educational books and resources to children in Papa New Guinea.
Every year we also chose a charity to make a donation to, in 2023 we donated funds to the Blind Low Vision Guide Dogs.
Tens of thousands of books, magazines, DVDs, textbooks, children’s books and records are collected throughout the year, and sorted by volunteers into categories which all go on sale in a 24-hour event on the first weekend of November.

When will drop off for the 2024 fair be open and as we have a decent number of books could someone pick them up from Portland Rd, Remuera
